Design Work

As part of my University degree this year I’ve had to do a redesign project for a North-Eastern based magazine. And I thought that while I’m currently feeling far too lazy to write a proper blog post (normal service will return tomorrow, with a lovely review of Skying) then I’d drop some of the work I’ve done in to see what you lovely people thought.

My redesign project centered around the free music and culture magazine The Crack, where we (I say we very loosely here, my partner was not the best in the world) decided to tackle the cover , their fashion page and their listings page. I admit the listings page is pretty boring (but I was fed up of doing all the work, not a good sign for the magazine I’m going to have to produce when I return) but I’m pretty proud of the other 2 pages, so let me know what you think.

Just a note about the listings page, it was dummy text, hence the repetition of various bands dates and times, purely only a method of portraying intentions.
